Ever since I was a young child, I have had a deep love of animals. I was always the kid that brought home frogs, snakes, or whatever else I could catch. I took a lot of pride in being the BEST frog catcher in my entire neighborhood and knew where most of the biggest bullfrogs lived. 🙂
As I got a little bit older, my first job was animal-related, as I helped take care of the neighbors pets while they were away on vacation. I thought this was the best job in the world, as I got to take dogs for walks or hang out with cats AND get paid. As a 12-year-old, this was an amazing way to make money, and I vividly remember putting flyers into everyone’s mail box, just hoping for a phone call.
Even when I went to college, I decided to study biology because I’m so fascinated by the natural world.
Anyways, it was probably inevitable that I created a website about PETS!
I have taken care of a wide variety of different creatures over the years, including dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, frogs, hamsters, hermit crabs, and more fish than I could ever count. 🙂
